you cannot see the wood for the trees.I like the colours of the leafs has they change then fall.

Where about is the woods in golborne. This looks like a very nice place for a walk.
This path is just the other side of the East Lancs from the racecourse - near the golf club. Probably not technically Golborne. The better place to walk is Sandy Lane (Keepers to locals) on the other side of the Lancs - the back way into the racecourse. See today's photo (22 Oct)

Yes - it's still in Wigan Borough. The boundary is right at the far end of this lane.
