Welcome to Wigan Borough by Anne Marie Yates (Fuji A850)
We are the only Town/City in the whole country who can boast top flight in both Super League Rugby and Premiership Football.
Taken at the end of the slip road, Junction 25 of the M6 at Bryn.

Yes, Hull is still in the Premiership, but will they survive? So Wigan may become the only town with a team in both Premiership and Super League.
More interestingly, Wigan's Twin Town of Angers France, is a beautiful place to visit. It stands on the River Maine, which is a tributary of the Loire. A group of 52 people from Angers will be coming to Wigan on August 21st, for 5 nights, so we are trying to find Host Families for them.

The road that the stadium is on is Anjou Drive.
I've always wondered if that was meant to be "Angers Drive", someone in the Council got it wrong, and no-one ever said anything :)
