Not bad photograph Harry. A little late. I took this pick in the 60s, Just before they removed Scholes off the map.You can find it in the archives of this site. As a lad I used to run errands for Joe Howard .He ran the hardware shop to the right of this pub.
Ron, I used to shop at Joe Howard's. I remember his Polish assistant not speaking good english.

I am just baffled has to what when the teenagers of WIGAN start to get to a stage where they they can't pop up WIGAN for they will be looked upon as an "oldie" then they wake up and all the pub's,club's are no longer there,what then?
