Did you pop into QS while you were there?! Its a massively striking building when you get up close you can appreciate its size.

In reply to Wolves 1's question, the answer is YES. I did some work there about 6 years ago removing the old mill boilers and Fred had left his trademark sig on the bottom of the chimney.

I worked there in 1966. had a few girl friend then, I worked in the cotton room with MOKI" wonder if he is still with us?
I was 17 then, Im in Australia now, and thinking of spending 6 months a year in UK ....memories
