|Shop assistants left shaken following armed robbery
Detectives in Wigan are appealing for the public's help to trace a man who threatened two shop workers during an armed robbery at the weekend.
The man entered the convenience store on Up Holland Road in Billinge at 3.25pm on Saturday 26th March 2005.
He posed as a customer, walking around the shop for several minutes before forcing the manager behind the counter and threatening him with a knife.
He also threatened a sixteen year old shop assistant before demanding cash from the till.
The man left the store on foot with a substantial amount of cash.
The robber is described as 25-30 years old and of stocky build, 6ft tall and with a black moustache and stubble. He spoke with a local accent wand was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a blue sports top.
