|Moorhouse on Monaco Mission
Award winning comedian and star of Phoenix Nights, Justin Moorhouse, will be appearing at the Monaco Ballroom, Hindley, near Wigan on Friday 30th June. Justin's appearance is part of his imaginatively titled 'the difficult second tour' and follows on from sell-out shows at the Monaco Ballroom by Phoenix co-stars Dave Spikey and Paddy McGuinness.
"Justin has been performed in Wigan before, he put in a storming performance at the Mill at the Pier in 2004. His style fits in nicely with the string of top comedians we are putting on at the Monaco Ballroom," says Brian Yates, Leisure Venues Manager for Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust. "I would urge people to buy their tickets as soon as possible so they won't be disappointed. Judging by the interest in the Dave Spikey and Paddy McGuinness gigs, it is sure to be a sell-out."
Widely recognised as one of most exciting talents to have emerged from the North West in recent years, Justin has come a long way since winning the 'City Life Comedian of the Year' Award back in 2000. He is now one of the most sought after acts on the British and International comedy circuit.
Justin struck fame playing 'Young Kenny' of tiger-striped face fame in Channel 4's 'Phoenix Nights' and 'Max & Paddy'. His gravel-voiced banter can also be heard on his award-winning radio show on Manchester's Key 103 fm.
Justin's performance at the Monaco Ballroom has arranged by Wigna Leisure and Culture Trust in association with Comedy Store Management. For further details or to purchase tickets, priced £15 and £20, please call the box office on 01942 825677.
