Burglary at school - Scholes
Friday 6th January, 2006

Police in Scholes are appealing for information about a burglary at St Patrick's School on Hardybutts on New Year's Day.

It is believed a man got into the junior school through a ground floor window between approximately 8.40pm and 8.50pm on 1 January 2006. The offender went into a classroom where he removed a curtain from the window and used it to wrap up four flat screen monitors and a computer hard drive.

The man is described as being white, around 30-years-old, 5ft 10ins tall with a thin, long face and brown hair. He was wearing a dark coloured bobble hat, blue bubble coat and black Nike socks.

The flat screen monitors are black and are made by 'ACER'.

Anyone who has been offered a flat screen monitor or has any information about the burglary is asked to contact officers at Scholes on 0161 856 7124 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
