Thursday 25th August, 2005

The burglary occurred between 6pm last night, Wednesday 24 August 2005 and 4am this morning when two bricks were thrown through the glass door of Gee Tees on Ormskirk Road.

It is believed an offender went into the shop through the broken glass door and took 200 worth of razors before then heading off towards City Road.

Officers from Wigan's Burglary Unit are investigating the incident and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the burglary or anything suspicious on the main shopping street overnight.

Anyone with further information is asked to contact the officers at the Burglary Unit on 0161 856 7203 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
