I'm not quite sure about this guy, i have a memory of what he did last time by basically dropping us from a great height! i also remember that once he left latics he did exactly the same at crystal palace. not sure whether he's the right man at all. i think whelan has a very short memory.

I have been told that the position was only temporary and that he was well within his rights to move on. I don't know the details but I believe that he had the right to leave written into his contract. Is this not the case?

He didnt even have a contract when he was here six years ago. He was offered a 2 year contract by Dave Whelan at the end of his 8 game spell but he was offered a job by Crystal Palace, who at the time, were a more attractive option. He was well within his rights to walk away.
