Joe lived in Aspull
Last time I spoke to him was in the Moorgate Pub at Aspull

In the 50s did he live in the Gathurst area ?

Gerry Kane lived near the Old Engine pub down Gathurst Rd at Orrell
In the 70s I often saw him out walking with his young grand-children

Miss Dunn was my first teacher at St. Joseph's. I remember Miss Duffy, she taught me too, and Mr. Moore, but he only taught boys when I was there. He was the head then.

I went to school with Catherine Gaukroger whose father was headmaster and I remember going to their home near St James at Orrell. I often wondered what happened to them.
