Can I ask... where is Bolton Abbey?

And please don't say 'Bolton'.

It looks like a lovely place to visit.

Now then. I don't get to go to many places, but having looked at those gorgeous pictures I feel as if I've been somewhere. It is gorgeous there. I went once but it must be nearly 30 years ago now. So many lovely places not far from us. We don't need to go abroad to see beauty. We've got all we need right here (except for the sunshine). Very Happy

If you want to go and cross over the stepping stones, go and do it very soon as they are to be removed for Health and Safety reasons, no option then but to use the near by footbridge.
If I could do it with a Mclaren buggy, I can't understand as to why people are suddenly falling in - 'Suppose they are being proactive in this insurance claim culture.
It's the Strid which is dangerous, 100% fatal, makes me cringe to think about it.
