He's got a Warburton's Toastie Loaf too, is he an east European maybe, wanting carp or perch on toast.

9.20am remember the sketches on Chewin the Fat - It's never too early for a Fusilier.

There is some big fish in there as I went to No 1 Wigan Pier for an interview many years ago and looking through a window overlooking the canal basin there was a lot of big swirls on the surface - reminded me of Jaws. Laughing

Speaking of Eastern Europeans, I saw six or seven of them fishing in Carr Mill Dam last week, near the railway bridge.
I wonder how many of them were members of St.Helens Anglers? or even held a rod-licence?

I also wonder if they'd get fined the maximum 1000 if caught?

I have Polish friends that live in Haydock and regular fish in Carr Mill and all hold rod licenses and permits. Much more that can be said for a few regulars on Orrell Res and along the canal
