Just seen someone with a bag and a pair of pincers walking down Wallgate towards the loose change machine at Asda. Laughing

Regarding Mick's Photo a Day of Today, the mooring post on the canal and the comment about cannons, I know that they used old cannons as bollards up and down the country and have always wondered if these bollards are old cannons, they are situated at the side of The Tippings Arms on Poolstock Lane where at one time there was a ginnel, link to street view below.

I will have a closer look at the bollards outside of the Tippings Arms our Cyril next time Im passing.

Taking of bollards your seeing a lot more of these bells shaped bollards in other towns that you can fall over if your not looking.
