I hope that the rumours are untrue but it seems that Colin McRae could have died in a helicopter crash. See the two links below.

Midday news has just reported that there were believed to have been four people in the helicopter at the time of the crash.

It was Colin, his little lad, and two family friends apparently. Both F1 and MotoGP paid tribute to him with gestures of one form or another.
