Wigan Book Cycle would be grateful for them.

There's one at what used to be Orrell Library and another in Beech Hill.

I didn't know until recently, but I was told that there is now a Book Cycle Branch on Hope Street too.

I'm tempted nephro, but no, I don't want to become a Bibliophile again Laughing
I had a clear out and filled eight banana boxes of books and a volunteer from the Beech Hill Branch came with a camper van to collect them, this was last year so unsure if he's still there, though I'm sure that someone will collect them if need be.

The few second hand bookshops that are still around don't want books anymore has they are having difficulty selling the ones they have, it doesn't seem all that long ago when the second hand bookshop on The Wiend was open and thriving, that seemed to go on for ever with all those rooms crammed with books, you could spend many a hour happily browsing in there.

It's surprising just how many books you can accumulate intending to re-read them at a later date, but never get round to doing so.

Mick I can remember many years ago going to a house on Coach House Drive and every room was piled high with books, now he did like a good read, only trouble being - he never got rid of them. Laughing
