It says on this sections heading "Your photos in and around Wigan". I think I can get away with this one being "around" Wigan.
I shot these at the beginning of June.

Christ Church, Parbold


Sun shining through an old lamp outside Christ Church, Parbold.
I had to balance on one leg on top of a fire hydrant marker to get this one to line up. Passing motorist were giving me strange looks Laughing

Did you walk around the graves David and see Big Amy, Wigan WPC No 1 Police woman graves.

Its says on these old photos of mine Harvest and Puppets, I wonder if the had Sooty on show.

No I didn't look at the graves Mick. I'll have a look next time I'm up there.
The church looks nice inside on your photos.

Big Amy is buried in the same grave as her two brothers in law, both of whom where pub fighters in the 60s

One of them died in a fight in Appley Bridge legion on new years eve.
