Our main object is the promotion and encouragement of research into family and local history.Our Society is a member of the Federation of Family History Societies (FFHS).
Our Facilities and Publications
We have a library of books (some of which are available to borrow), some fiche (including the 1981 IGI) and a fiche reader available, for loan to members. The library and fiche reader will be available at all members' evenings, but for practical reasons, loans are not available to postal members.
A magazine is produced once a year and a news letter 2 to 3 times a year.
