Thank God the fireworks are over..bet the poor wildlife were terrified..they have enough to cope with keeping warm at nights without the added stress of all the bangs.Veggie,I make my own fat balls but not in balls if you know what I mean..in an oblong dish I put lard.. then into the microwave it goes til it's melted,then seeds and sultanas or raisins..it solidifies in no time,then it can be cut into squares..or just crumbled up..and they love it plus they need that extra bit of fat to keep their body temp up.
