Yes bambam, there were some rough areas, especially the tenement blocks round Liverpool. Things don't change, even in the roughest places there were some really nice people.

Once darkness fell you had to watch your back when people knew you were carrying money. Several collectors were 'done over', I was a lucky one I guess.
