Like I said. It's not countryside, it's brown field industrial land. A 'country park' is ideally suited to being 'in the country'!

The 'nature park' came second in the grand scheme of things which, incidentally, was originally created by Ashton in Makerfield UDC, NOT Wigan Council. That's because it ain't in Wigan, it's in Ashton!
