I'm happy and healthy - still working - still have the 2 dogs that go with me.

Dolly said to tell you she has some very nice presents.
She also said to tell you that "Jacko" looks well in his new pressies - dressed head to toe in his bare skins - damn keyboard - bear skins - sorry.
Except of course for the mop on my head - the lads at the factory want to know if I'm trying to get in with the highway men - Willie Nelson - Weylon Jennings - Kris Kristofferson - Johhny Cash - NO - I wear a tie.

NO LAMB - its turkey & ham - picked them up last night - drop them out today to Nigel & Jannett (son & D-I-L) she does the cooking. I make the suffing, (have done for 40 odd years) sausage meat - herbs - breadcrumbs - eggs - laced with brandy & Bristol Cream (3 x bread tin size).
Most of which goes to family and friends - Christmas morning is a mad house - always has been - 7 adult children - their partners - 10 grand children - 2 dogs - neighbours calling in (for whiskey and stuffing), the sons playing poker - drinking beer - kids running around - but they no know not to go in grandads den - the wives go off to cook their dinners - Dad, does the taxi-ing, same each year and the miserable sod (me) wont have any drink till evening time and I'm back home - and by that time - its all over.
Next day - I collect the turkey left overs frrm the lads - head out to Jannetts - prepare and cook the "turkey curry", and that is for "all sons - wives - children - and 2 sets of in-laws" who joined us 3 years ago.
Why Nigel's? he's the only son who has 3 acres of land - surrounded by farms - built a large house (his mother used to say - I wished your father was working for you and not the other way around) LOL
Not forgetting, tomorrow, I collect a dozen fresh red roses for Ann, then off to the visit the grave.
Time has moved on - no more tears - no lump in the throat - - memories are still there.
