Guess who I "bumped" into this morning at Charlton hall, give up? well it was none other than our local conservative MP for Wells Mr. David Heathcoat-Amory! He has started a campaign to stop the closure of rural post offices The hall was filled to capacity with standing room only (I had a seat though)as over sixty residents plus councillors attended the meeting chaired by himself and assisted by local Conservative Ward Councillor and Mayor John Brunsdon. There might be another meeting soon, so its possible you might see me on TV one of these days (assuming you pay the licence fee's up north)
