I only went down Crankwood when Cliff was off, then Fisher Ave was on that round, i used to go up Park Lane to the Avenue then up to the top of Maypole cut through were they used to do the coal screening into Crankwood rd and finish at those houses near the swing bridge in Plank lane There were John Greehalch, Tommy Charnock, Cliff Ainsworth and myself worked for Tommy Farrimond then and nobody wanted that round but Cliff loved it.

Yes i remember John but cant remember who was there before them, Johns father passed away early this year, in the big house at the top opposite the sanitariume i can remember Alan Woseley living there with is parents
