Hi Mark its Michael who had the caliper,but I think Rob was ill as a kid as he is a diabetic. Rob has never aged, I look older than him and he is my uncle!!Maureen was about 17 when she got married, her husband Brian died earlier this year.
We lived in Bryn for over 20 years.
My nan stayed at Riding Lane till she died 6 years ago at 87, she was a tough lady too.Apparently when my dad was born he was one of biggest babies in the area, she had knitted small pink clothes , he was a boy and HUGE.My nan was still trying to make him wear a scarf and balaclava when he was in his his 40's!!!
She'd never ask us to pop in, she'd summon us, and we never dared say no, franny used to sweeten her with a bottle of whisky.
