People   (Re-unions, trace old friends and relatives.)

Started by: KSBev (2)

Good morning.
I'm trying to follow up a lead on my grandmother's side of the family tree but I hit a dead end.

Her name was Jean Cartwright (b1935) and her father was Albert Cartwright (1900-1961) and her mother was Catherine Knowles (1907-1978). I can't seem to find a lot of information about them, but my mother tells me that my grandmother Jean, was always saying that she used to live in a gypsy caravan on Amberswood Common.

I'd be extremely grateful for any information anyone has, whether it's about the family line (I can't get past Albert) or the gypsy site on Amberswood Common.
