Dave,
Got some info back from a Manchester Regiment site that suggests Grandad could be private 1325 William Ince, 1/5th battalion Manchester Regt. ( Wigan Territorials ). He was later renumbered 200090. Served at Gallipoli from 6th May, 1915.
Have you got anything of his that could confirm this ? His medals will have his number on the edge, his discharge paper will have the complete details.
I will keep digging, and let you know if anything comes up.
