People   (Re-unions, trace old friends and relatives.)

If I knew that ancestors of mine were coal hewers and miners is there anywhere where I could go to find out which mine they worked at and maybe get some further information on them?

I am initially thinking of say a logbook of every mine in Wigan and their employees from say 1880 onwards...
