We went to New York in October 2010 for my brother-in-law's 60th and i had a look on the internet to see if anything was on over the weekend we were there.It happened to be the second annual Brooklyn Soul Festival at the Bell House so we bought tickets for the main night.To cut a long story short i was ill on the night so we couldn't go.However the next day we got the subway over to Brooklyn and found the club where there was a record fair on.I got talking to a guy from Bury who had been there the night before and he said it had been amazing and when you look at the line up you can see why...Barbara Lynn...Vernon Garrett...Don Gardner...Harvey Scales...Betty Harris and loads more.Chance of a lifetime missed! Hence the title of the second track ! As for being mad for all those posts i think you're doing a cracking job Jem.It's great to have a passion! Right, off to put Sky on and hopefully watch Wigan batter Saints.
