The farm was Catteralls farm.In the 1891 census Prescott Lane included Ackhurst Hall, Roburite and Gathurst Station.
A cattle trough stood in front of Catteralls Farm, chiselled from solid stone. It now rests in front of the Heinz building.
The photo shows the arrow pointing to the farm just before demolition. The telegraph poles are running along Prescott Lane.
