Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

On the 1861 census William Prescott's address is given as Ravens Inn, Danes Gate Hindley, I'm trying to work out where this would be. I know there is a Danes Ave and a Deansgate, both off Bridge St and I have tried to follow the 1861 census enumerators track but still can't work exactly where it would be, anybody any ideas.

On the 8th Nov. 1861 William Prescott was killed in a pit accident, because he died in the pit his death certificate doesn't give his home address, but on the burial record on OPC it gives his address as Vipers Alley, I presume Hindley because he was buried at All Saints Church, Hindley, anybody know where this was.
