Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I remember I Love Lucy. Living in our damp little terrace with a tin bath and an outside toilet, we were amazed at these American homes with frdges and fitted carpets, and children coming in from school having "milk and cookies". It was another world. As I've told in The Album, we rented a tv off Gaskell's, and when it was "looping-the-loop", Mr. Gaskell came and showd my Dad where to hit it, to save calling him out!
