Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

hi my name is maureen awhile back i recived a visit from a firm called kin who research for lost relutives of people who hav passed away well they informed me that my mother had 2 babies before she married my dad one died in childbirth and eddie wos putin to the care of ditton nazareth house it seems his number wos1440 he wos put there when he wos 18 months old eddie mc donald remained there untill 22 april1953 and thenwos moved to aschool stone cross ulverston i never knew eddie as my mother for reasons of her own di d not tell me about him so you can imagine it came as a great shock to me and i have been devistated to find out i had a brother i never knew and could have loved so much my mother and i were very close but she could not tell me about eddie it hurt me so much i cant under stand why so then i find eddie wos only in manchester and i wos in lpool and he could of been part of my growing family instead he wos on his own had never married i am srry if i am going on too much but i cant stop crying every time i think of him missing out and all his lonely christmases and birthdays when he could have been with us so if any body could tell me if they knew him and what he wos like i am so wanting to know my brother some how i would be greatful for any information anyone could give pleasehelp if you can thank you in advance maureen
