Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

There is a picture of the British Legion on page 5 in the Album / North Ashton.......It was demolished in the 60s... Why, I don't know, it was a lovely building..

The White house was across the rd, facing the green, where the bus stop used to be....

There was a picture somewhere, I'll look for it later of the old Village club, it was originally a house, I remember it was an old house even back when I was little.... As I said in an earlier post, dougie and bentlegs will know better than any of us, cos they're 'older'...

I've just looked through the old DG threads and can't find the pic... Maybe dougie was the one who put it on, then removed it...
