Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Thank you for all that info everybody.Bert, I don't recognise those names. Maybe another branch of the Adamsons.
Jouell-look on the photographs of Downall Green school as Judith Adamson is on there. I have emailed her a couple of times but not had a reply.Dougie, Jack Adamson (killed by the bomb and there is a Wigan Observer article in the History Shop) was the son of Wm and Jane Ann and their other son Wm was married to Nellie. It was lovely to see their photograph. My grandad Robert Adamson was uncle to Nellie's William.
The Anne Adamson's family I am trying to trace was born in 1863 and married to Stephen Walsh the MP for Ince who did live in DG until they moved to Swinley Rd. Wigan. His funeral was in DG.
