Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I remember going to the speedway at Woodhouse Lane with my parents in 1952 I can still smell the cinders and the fuel they used. It's a pity there isn't much information about the two tracks in Wigan and the teams Wigan Warriors and Wigan Panthers.
I still have my original 1952 Wigan Panthers badge. I wouldn't part with it for anything. The Warriors one unfortunately is just a copy. There is a picture of both badges on the site.
