Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

That's funny bert,,yea, my Dad didn't have a twinkle in his eye for nothing..
I know Dad and Jack Slater were good friends, I remember one Christmas eve, someone knocked on the front door, when we opened it we couldn't see anyone.. Later we heard a bump and a bang, again went to the front door and found my Dad... Jack Slater and Dad had been out for a drink..as they did..my Dad was the worse for wear, so Jack Slater brought him home and propped Dad up in the corner of the front Porch, then he took off, as he knew he'd get it from my Mam..
But I 'm talking about the pig pen right on Leyland Green rd, on the land between Smiths then Rimmers bungalow and Shaws pen across from my house That's where Mr Smith had pigs and he and my Dad were friends too..
