But brilliant remembering by jem glover and coke73, that's the one all right...J.J. Jackson, and it's a cracking record to hear again. I would never have remembered the 'Sho Nuff' title on my own.
Doesn't it sound exactly like the Contours number though? Surprised there wasn't a legal battle for copying, as J.J obviously thought he was the originator of it...

jem glover comment about Sock it to Em CD reminds me of another owd un, and another good one that were both on an LP of a similar name...
