Dlanor, you're a really stubborn owd bugger!

Let me explain the situation .....

'Rob Lane', which YOU mentioned in your original post, is nowhere near the East Lancs Road. Rob Lane is in Newton le Willows. The development you mention isn't at Rob Lane, is it?.
So, WHY have you gone searching for 'Rob Lane' on the St.Helens site?????

THIS is the application I was meaning .....

St.Helens Council Planning Portal/Newton Lane Haydock

Newton Lane, before it changes to Rob Lane, is in Haydock. The point at which the name changes, is the point where Haydock becomes Newton le Willows.

Now, you DID mention that the development was taking place at the 'juction of Newton Lane and the East Lancs Road'.
The land on either side of that junction is part and parcel of Dean Dam farm. It all belongs to Legh Estates. It is part and parcel of Haydock Park Estate, and it is IN Haydock.

If you've now changed your mind, and the development is off Rob Lane, then OK., it's not in Haydock. If the development is off Warrington Road, near to the traffic island, again, it's not in Haydock.

BUT .... if you are sticking with what you said, that the development you seek information about is alongside the 'Newton Lane and East Lancs Road junction', it is IN Haydock, NOT Golborne.

Here's a link to show you .........

St.Helens Council Planning Portal. (type Dean Dam Farm into the 'address' box, then press 'search').
