Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Hi Dave thanks for that data , I forgot to mention that it has been told to me that a family in particular a lady who eventually became my grandma! and on the 1901 census it gave her address as 273 Thomas Street, Hindley Green.
Now that would have been imagine you are at the top end of the street ie. where St.John's School is, then my grandma lived on the right roughtly 4-6 houses down.
For my wife's grand=parents lived on the left side at 272 today it's the last house terrace then the big detached bungalow! My grandma was a HART ,,ELIZABETH HART. SO once again Dave thanks for your interest.
