In Fridays Dail Mail there's a readers letter entitled Too Many Die Alone. Apparently there's a new name for old people left all on their own, its called the Eleanor Rigby syndrome and it means no visits, no calls and no mourners at your funeral, unless of course a legacy is forthcoming. I'm a witness to this kind of behavior. What sort of a nation have we become?
