I have just read of the Spaniel and it is horrifying. Another event mentioned in the Leigh Reporter is that of a Staffie with two of its paws bound and tied to a gas cylinder and dumped in an Atherton lake to perish. Whatever your thoughts on staffies or indeed, any other breed, anyone who treats an animal like that wants shooting IMO. Last week, The Reporter featured the story of a cat that had been kicked and battered and is hopefully going to pull through.
