me n mi sister... ar pat use to go to the launderette across from the king billy in platt bridge, put the washing in and go a few doors down to a shop, an off license cant remember the name? but they sold sarsaparilla in a glass hot or cold....put the washin in the dryers for a bob a time n go back fer another ...... everythn was a bob then... gas lecky telly ....
