my husbands mother told my husband to choose between her or me 9yrs ago after i had an almighty row with his sister i had sort of held my tongue for seventeen years,he chose me, i thought that was a terrible thing to say to him and thought she would retract what she had said but she never did, and i am the mother to her only grandchildren they dont speak even though i have tried to persuade him to, my husband is a lovely man and i think if anything happens to her before they sort it out the guilt would kick, in but surely it was up to her also to apologise for saying what she had said ,so whats peoples oppinion on this is he totally wrong.
