In your case, I will apologise, but as I have said before, I was only trying to make a point about some people only now showing any interest in our armed forces as a result of the media mentioning about Afghanistan on the news.

Supporting the armed forces should be all the time, and not just when it suits the media to mention them.

Prehaps, I did not put it across very well.
