I saw the Spitfire running, but couldn't see the sign for the crowd that were gathered. It was only later that I saw that it was £25.00 a pop to sit in the cockpit with the engine running.

One of the advantages the venue had over last year's Mesnes Park event was the indoor facilities. Though I was surprised at the amount of security staff present.

Hope a good time was had by all who went.

And more importantly, I hope these events show our servicemen and women that whatever our political opinions some of us are behind them.
