Stoo, I for one am not in the way of progress. However, do i wish to see Wigan reduced to a concrete jungle?. No i certainly do not. I think the word is "moderation". I know Westwood Lane very well as i lived there for number of years, and loved it i may add. The preservation of history is very important in every community
Shall we agree to the demolition of Stonehenge to make way for a new housing development, lets rip down The Tower of London to make way for a nice modern prefab. In fact while we are it lets just make Wigan into another Milton Keynes. A prime example of over modernisation if ever i saw one. Sometimes in this life you just have to say enough is enough.
