I am from Ince, left over 40 years ago, never recall the place, so.
At first, I was adding this to my list of places to see (visit) - sometime next month.

However, in view of what "STOOO" has had to say, I dont think a visit is now worth it.

Although I do admire the lengths to which some people would go, and the efforts they make, trying or attempting to "right the wrong".
But if as STOOO says, this place is a dump and the building delisted, more than likely because the cost of refurbishment, followed by the cost of maintaining.
And after that, what happens next?

Ince having a stately home - naw.
Visitors paying to walk around - naw

Then why do up the place if the man who lives there, has neglected this place (his home), over years?
