Hello Sue.64, thanks for taking an interest, unfortunately my mother is one of the "old school" and fiercly independent, even though she is wheelchair bound she still does not like to ask anyone for anything and as for social services I have not tried them, but its probably a good idea. But one thing your right about is my "ex" brother and thats being rude! Will not be eating any Heinz products again, that will teach him Ha Ha!
