Have read this thread a few times. To be honest I think apart from immediate family telling the errant son to get stuffed, no one else would gain from tackling him. Definately not his poor mum, likely he'd resent being made to see her, and that'd make her miserable around him.Unfortunately we can't pick our families, mores the pity in cases like this.I'm sure the good son more than makes up for the other prat .
Personally if he was my son I'd tell him to sling his hook if he did turn up after all this time.You can't replace mums , shame on him for wasting these last few precious years.
