Hello Dark Horse, what a harrowing story!
My god, and I thought I had it rough, this girl (woman) is very lucky to have someone so understanding as yourself. I am in a funny position as I dont live in the UK and it makes things more difficult in looking after my mother, sometimes I have even flown over to take her for a doctors appointment. I try to get over as many times as I can and am very lucky that some of my old Wigan friends go round for a chat or do a bit of shopping. My mother is over here at the moment and is as happy as larry, but she's not getting any younger (88) and I would never put her in a home. There is another member of my family living in Wigan, but he has "not got the time* as he is working to hard as it is.
